Third-Party Software

TexSlide is built with and interacts with powerful open-source components. Your use of these components is subject to their respective licenses.

LibreOffice

TexSlide is built upon a modified version of LibreOffice Impress, which is licensed under the Mozilla Public License v2.0 (MPL 2.0). The source code for our modifications to LibreOffice is available upon request.

As a large project, LibreOffice itself incorporates numerous third-party components. A complete list of these components and their respective licenses is provided by The Document Foundation and can be viewed here.

LaTeX

TexSlide interfaces with your local LaTeX installation to render formulas. LaTeX distributions (like TeX Live, MiKTeX) are typically licensed under the LaTeX Project Public License (LPPL).

Other Open Source Components

TexSlide also includes various other open-source libraries. A complete list of these components and their licenses is available in the application's "About" section.

For Academic Institutions

We offer special volume licensing plans for academic and research institutions. If you are interested in purchasing multiple licenses for your department or organization, please contact our sales team to discuss the available options.

License Compliance

Your use of TexSlide must comply with all terms outlined in our comprehensive Terms of Service. Failure to do so may result in the termination of your license.
